How Does BlueValue Work?
BlueValue is a PPO plan that works with a network of healthcare providers so your BlueValue plan can offer you discounted care costs.
The BlueValue plan is similar to the SelectBlue plan. It doesn't have some of the extra features of the SelectBlue plan, such as the prescription drug card. But because BlueValue doesn’t offer these features, you’ll get lower premiums.
The BlueValue plan features a flexible deductible. You can choose from a $250, $500, $1,000, $2,500, or $5,000 deductible. Remember, the higher your deductible, the lower your monthly premium will be.
